MINIATURE INFRARED TRANSMITTERS
MEASURE WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE

OMEGA's new OS100E Series miniature infrared
transmitters measure a temperature range of -18 to 538°C (0 to 1000°F). All
models feature a remotely-mounted infrared sensor head connected to a
high-performance, microprocessor-based signal conditioner. The miniature
sensor head is ideal for measuring temperature in confined, hard-to-reach
places and harsh environments. The sensor head is connected to the main
electronics housing via a 1.8 m (6 ft.) shielded cable, with the signal
conditioner's main electronics mounted in a rugged NEMA 4 (IP65) rated
die-cast aluminum housing. Model OS102E includes a built-in LED display that
is switchable between °C and °F. Standard features include adjustable
emissivity, field-adjustable alarm output, and RS-232 PC interface.
Available analog outputs include 4 to 20 mA, 0/5 Vdc, 0/10 Vdc, 1 mV/Deg,
and Type K thermocouple. All models are CE marked.

Agitators Feature Swing Out Seal Change Design
Chemineer® Model 20 HT/GT
top-entering agitators feature a swing out seal change design for
easy seal maintenance and reduced maintenance cost. With the Model
20 HT/GT agitators, there’s no need to lift or remove the gearbox,
saving labour and downtime. Replacing the mechanical seal involves
simply rotating the gearbox 90° around the pivot pin, which opens
the top of the seal pedestal for a clear, line-of-site view and
ample room for easy removal of the coupling half and seal assembly.
Model 20 HT/GT agitators are designed for a wide range of service in
the chemical, pharmaceutical, ethanol and biofuels, water and
wastewater, FGD, power and other general process industries. The
agitators feature a new, high-efficiency gearbox with helical
gearing and a parallel shaft configuration designed specifically for
agitator service. Modular design package reduces the number of
replacement parts that need to be carried in inventory. The wide
range of speeds available with the new agitators provides improved
process control and greater application versatility. The Model 20
HT/GT agitators are designed to meet AGMA, OSHA, ANSI, IEC, DIN, EU
and ATEX standards and requirements.

ELECTRONIC PRESSURE
SWITCH/TRANSMITTER HAS A COMPACT HOUSING
PST400 Electronic Pressure Switch/Transmitter has
a number of innovative features integrated into a compact housing. In
addition to a 4-20 mA or 0-10 Volt output, it is equipped with two
electrically isolated relays or two transistor outputs for ON/OFF control.
Back-lit LCD display indicates the pressure in both a 4-digit numerical
value and a bargraph presentation. In addition, the status of the switches,
temperature of the sensor and a warning light to indicate “out of rated
pressure” is displayed. The PST400 can be easily programmed with the aid of
only two buttons located on the face of the instrument, and configurations
may be saved with security codes to prevent instrument tampering. All
stainless steel design stands aggressive fluids, and provides measurement
accuracy of better than ±0.2%. The
PST400 offers high burst pressure capability, ease of configuration,
availability of many units of measurement and exceptional resistance to
vibrations and shocks.

ROTARY DE-CLUMPER REDUCES
AGGLOMERATES
Model 15X15-SS low-profile Rotary De-Clumper
reduces agglomerates and friable materials being discharged from process
equipment, storage vessels and shipping containers. Material entering the 15
in. (381 mm) square inlet is reduced in size by dual rotors with
three-point, single-piece, stainless steel breaking heads rotating with
minimum clearance inside a curved, perforated bedscreen. On-size material
exits through apertures in the bedscreen ranging from 1/32 to 2-1/2 in. (25
to 64 mm) in diameter. Powered by a 3 HP (2.24 kw) motor with gear reducer
and serpentine timing drive, the synchronized shafts rotate at approximately
100 RPM to avoid heating the product. Both rotor assembly and bedscreen can
be removed rapidly for cleaning or replacement. At 11 in. (279 mm) high, the
unit is designed to fit in restricted spaces between bulk storage, handling,
processing and packaging equipment. With optional feed hoppers and support
structures, it can also operate independently. Constructed of #304
stainless steel, finished to sanitary standards and designed for thorough
washdown, the unit is suitable for food, dairy and pharmaceutical
applications as well as industrial applications where cross-contamination
between batches is a concern. It is also offered in #316 stainless steel,
carbon steel and abrasion-resistant steel (AR-235).
