CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTATION SALES REPRESENTATIVES

We are seeking for our Halifax office an experienced Controls and Instrumentation Sales Representatives

Job Duties

Prospecting and building long-term relationships, uncovering/locating opportunities, preparing proposals and nurturing sales opportunities to closure
Accompany other sales team members on sales calls as the instrumentation product specialist
Develop and maintain contacts with architects, consulting engineers, contractors, specification writers and building owners to promote and specify the use of our company products and services
Will require some travelling within the Atlantic Canada area

Qualifications

Diploma in Controls and Instrumentation with 10 years of experience
3 to 5 years experience in sales
Experience in controls application and selection
Ability to understand customer technical needs and select a suitable controls solutions
Familiar with industrial working environment
Exposure to steam plant applications would be a definite asset
Must be technical and detail oriented
